Search Account Supervisor (Boston)

We are searching for a Search Account Supervisor, specializing in SEO, preferably with exposure to paid search and display campaigns. The ideal candidate will lead AMP’s organic search engine optimization clients and bring innovative thinking to continuously evolve AMPs SEO offering. The Search Account Supervisor will be directing the implementation of organic search and earned media campaigns across AMP’s diverse group of clients. This role is a key client facing position that is focused on building successful relationships both internally at AMP and externally with clients.

Responsibilities include:

  • Proactively leads SEO recommendations based on customer, business, brand and data insights (on-going consultative POVs and as part of planning cycle)
  • Internalizes client’s business, economics, major customer segments and competitive set
  • Establishes strong relationships with clients and is perceived as a leader on accounts
  • Consistently demonstrates active problem resolution in order to ensure smooth execution of programs
  • Assumes responsibility for delivering programs on time and on budget
  • Manages entire programs independently, working effectively with team members within the search team and across the agency as needed
  • Able to respond to all client questions and advise with strategic, insightful, meaningful POVs with and without input from search team
  • Holds self and team accountable for flawless execution and management
  • Proactively demonstrates, through example and coaching, client and team management skills to junior team members
  • Creates and fosters team motivation, collaboration and positive attitude
  • Sets strong example of leadership and teamwork with other departments
  • Consistently demonstrates willingness to take on new responsibilities
  • Possess applied expertise in integrated digital marketing (channels, tools, analysis, techniques, applicable business examples)

Experience Required:

  • Must have 3-5 years of hands-on experience working in an SEO role
  • A general knowledge of digital marketing (i.e. PPC, Display, Mobile, Social, etc)
  • Willingness to be exposed to all digital marketing disciplines.
  • A firm grasp on advanced SEO concepts and techniques (onsite optimization, link analysis, web analytics, etc)
  • Strong knowledge of HTML/CSS and understanding and SEO implications of modern web development techniques (AJAX, Flash, HTML 5)
  • Proven ability to use data to support program strategy and tactics
  • Working knowledge of website technologies (i.e. web servers, content management systems, etc)
  • Knowledge of earned media, content marketing and link building tactics
  • Familiarity with SEO management platforms (i.e. Conductor) and web analytics platforms (i.e.  Adobe SiteCatalyst and Google Analytics)
