Media Intern (Boston)

The Media Intern will work with both the Integrated Planning and Performance Media teams to assist with media
campaign setup, implementation and execution across multiple client accounts and across all facets of digital and
traditional media. Interns will have the opportunity to learn the full media planning process from using syndicated
research tools to develop innovative media solutions to providing support for trafficking, ad serving, reporting and
billing.


Tasks may include:

  •  Work with media planning team to help develop media strategies and plans for clients
  • Assist in the strategy development and execution for paid search, paid social and eTail campaigns
  • Assist in the trafficking of all campaign assets through DCM or other sources and assist in the execution of paid media marketing programs across platforms such as Google, Bing, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter,
  • Snapchat and Amazon Marketing Services
  • Pull raw data from ad server or other sources and compile client reporting for media planning and channel teams
  • Conduct competitive research using a variety of sources
  • Facilitate billing reconciliation in conjunction with media team and finance department
  • Enter insertion orders into the billing system and coordinate invoicing with accounting
  • Provide administrative support to create and produce presentation materials
  • Participate in brainstorm sessions
  • Prepare campaign reports for clients and work with media and channel teams on key insights from
  • performance
  • Assist in monitoring client campaigns on a daily basis, to ensure all programs are running according to contract
  • Gather materials for verification (screenshots, pre-logs, viewability reports, etc.)

Requirements:

  • Ideal candidates are interested and passionate about advertising in all its forms, and eager to learn about media planning and buying and the agency environment
  • Ability to thrive in a team environment and be a team player
  • Enjoys fast-paced, deadline driven environment
  • Extremely organized and high attention to detail
  • Expresses oneself (in writing and verbally) clearly, concisely, and thoroughly;
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to create PowerPoint presentations
  • Able to anticipate issues and to resolve them quickly
  • Demonstrates a positive, can-do attitude with all assignments
  • Ability to learn new tools quickly
  • Must be able to work at least 24 hours a week
  • Communications, Advertising or Marketing major preferred
