Analytics Manager (Boston)

AMP is searching for an experienced analyst and consultant to join our growing Analytics team. Aspiring candidates should have a passion for helping brands make sense of their overwhelming amount of data and a talent for inspiring decision-making. This Manager will have a visible role with the agency and play a leadership role on several key accounts.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with client teams to guide integrated cross-channel storytelling, data interpretation, insight generation and analytics program evolution.
  • Act as primary day-to-day analytics lead on several key agency accounts – providing a holistic view of marketing impact, interpreting trends, identifying opportunities and leading the conversation around data activation.
  • Guide the cross-functional team’s learning agenda, generate hypotheses, and encourage a culture of experimentation.
  • Mentor junior team members skill and career development.
  • Partner with technical resources to guide implementation of data strategy. 

Qualifications:

  • Enthusiastic about the opportunity to solve our clients’ various business challenges that span the gamut of data platforms, technology solutions, marketing/distribution channels and industry verticals
  • Strong problem solver and curious data analyst with appetite to disrupt our internal teams’ and clients’ thinking with new ideas
  • Creative data storyteller with excellent verbal/written communication skills to interpret and present business value to our clients
  • Eager to share new approaches/techniques and learn about emerging measurement technologies.
  • Comfortable working across 3 – 5 accounts
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Finance, Statistics, Economics or related field
  • 4 – 6 years of agency or brand-side marketing analytics experience
  • Comfortable with a broad spectrum of digital/traditional measurement technologies
  • Advanced working knowledge of a digital analytics suite (e.g. Google 360, Adobe Analytics) is recommended
  • Experience with at least one data analysis/visualization tool (e.g. Tableau, Power BI) is recommended
  • Experience with presentation software (e.g. PowerPoint, Keynote) is recommended
  • Experience with an attribution technology provider (e.g. Visual IQ, C3) is recommended
  • Experience with a statistical tool (e.g. SAS, SPSS) or relational database management system (e.g. Oracle, MS SQL Server) is a plus
  • Experience with a tag management solution (e.g. GTM) is a plus
  • Experience with advanced excel formulas/functionality and SQL is a plus
