Sr. Product Marketing Strategist (B2B)

Core Responsibilities:
Audience Intelligence
- Performs primary and secondary research on customer and consumer emotions and behaviors including social listening, data analysis, interpreting results and synthesizing recommendations.
- Conducts audits to identify the gaps and uncover insights to inform creative messaging and channel roles.
Product Positioning and Messaging
- Defines and/or refines positioning and messaging for product lines within a larger brand portfolio, refining based on channel and audience nuances
- Leads in building sales enablement collateral and resources that clearly outline product value proposition and features.
Ecosystem and Go-To-Market Planning
- Develops go-to-market plans including channel strategies and communication frameworks to drive demand, lead-generation and revenue.
- Helps contribute to our client’s overarching strategy by developing audience journeys, messaging plans, and designing marketing ecosystems, touchpoint strategies, and roadmaps that drive client KPIs
- Partners with the account management, media and creative teams to drive strategy, execution, and day-to-day success with cross-channel marketing campaigns.
Brief Development
- Translates business problems into strategic recommendations and creative briefs to inform how creative comes to life across multiple touchpoints.
- Partners with the integrated team to adjust and optimize marketing programs based on client needs and to ensure individual program elements stay on strategy.
Market Landscape
- Maintains an acute knowledge of our client’s industry/category with an ability to anticipate changing market conditions and proactively implement new strategies
Leadership & Collaboration
- Creates solid client relationships and becomes a trusted advisor
- Builds strong agency team relationships
- Presents strategies and frameworks to internal and client teams
Qualifications
- 7-10 years in strategy and communication/connections/engagement planning in an agency setting
- Strong understanding of digital marketing channels including email, social, display and search
- Deep understanding of e-commerce platforms, and the role they play in consumer journeys and brand ecosystems
- Ability to think strategically (not just tactically)
- Experience with insight tools (Resonate, Mintel, Nielsen, CIM, Google…) and interpretation of client ad-hoc research (quant & qual)
- Excellent written and verbal communication & storytelling skills
- Ability to work independently on a project or in a team environment
- Experience managing direct reports

Experience: 7-10 years experience as a strategist within an agency
Travel: Currently N/A, all work is remote. Travel may be expected up to 20% as pandemic restrictions lift.
