Search & Social Media Supervisor (Boston)

Thank you for your interest in AMP Agency! The role we are looking to fill is for a Search & Social Media Supervisor. This person will be responsible for leading the day-to-day strategy and execution of paid social and paid search channels by outlining effective strategies and techniques for accounts, implementing paid media disciplines, presenting recommendations and strategy to clients, as well as leading and mentoring junior team members. The role requires a demonstrated and comprehensive knowledge of both paid social and paid search channels to effectively drive day-to-day tactical execution of the campaigns and continually exceed client expectations. Knowledge of eCommerce / eTail is a plus.


  • Lead strategy and execution of paid social and paid search campaigns, including but not limited to account strategy development, setup, and management
    • Must have experience working directly in Google & Bing search, Facebook/Instagram, and YouTube platforms.
    • Experience with LinkedIn, Snapchat, Pinterest and Twitter is a plus.
  • Build and establish client relationships by acting as the lead day-to-day contact for client communication, running client meetings, statuses, and presentations.
  • Supervise, train and mentor junior team members to build skillsets, and foster strong career growth trajectory within the AMP Search & Social team
  • Help manage workflow and allocation of tasks to Coordinators and Specialists
  • Act as a ‘quality assurance’ manager to ensure all deliverables are client-ready & error-free before they are sent externally
  • Proactively research client’s business and present business and marketing recommendations or opportunities
  • Use statistical analysis to draw conclusions about marketing campaign performance, and provide insights and recommendations on areas of opportunity
  • Monitor media and competitive trends, best practices and techniques to demonstrate thought leadership, both internally and externally, ensuring account growth and identifying new opportunities

  • Be comfortable managing upwards when necessary, to tap into Director and/or Executive level resources to help troubleshoot client and/or team issues
  • Ability to stay current on search and social trends, new opportunities, and industry changes
  • If no prior experience in eTail/eCommerce execution, must have a willingness to learn platforms including Amazon, Walmart, Target, and Criteo.
  • Ability to consistently perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment as an individual on a team
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, drive hard to completion, and deliver effective results



  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 3+ years paid search and paid social experience
  • In-depth experience managing campaigns within Facebook & Instagram, Google Ads, Bing Ads, and YouTube
  • Bonuses:
    • Experience managing campaigns on Amazon, Walmart, Target, Snapchat, Twitter, Pinterest, and LinkedIn
    • AdWords Certification (Fundamentals & Advanced) and Facebook Blueprint Certification is a plus
  • Previous experience managing or mentoring at least 1-2 people
  • Advanced computer skills, proven proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and Google Docs
  • Some travel required; anticipated to be between 5%-10%
