Analyst (Boston)

The analyst within the Measurement & Analytics practice at AMP will play an active role in providing actionable data and insights to our clients. An analyst will gain exposure across a broad variety of paid, earned and owned channels, digital data sources, analytic techniques and marketing challenges. Aspiring candidates should have a passion for data-driven storytelling, and a desire to apply this practice in helping brands produce meaningful marketing results.


  • Extract, clean and integrate data from disparate data sources into holistic, cross-channel dashboards that help us tell a story of our clients' marketing program
  • Support the team in contextualizing data trends and uncovering actionable data insights for our internal and external clients
  • Work across functional teams (e.g. Media, Creative, Tech) to identify opportunities for optimization
  • Participate in the creation of client-facing measurement strategies, from KPI selection to data capture requirements
  • Contribute to ad hoc performance analyses that encompass a variety of digital and traditional channels
  • Contribute to the design and interpretation of in-market tests
  • Develop fluency in relevant digital technologies and analytic methods


  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Finance, Statistics, Economics or related field
  • Intellectually curious, analytical, and passionate about data
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interpret and present business value to our clients
  • Experience with advanced excel functionality is preferred
  • Experience with at least one data analysis/visualization tool is a plus (e.g. Tableau, Power BI, SPSS)
  • Experience with reporting platforms for media (e.g. DoubleClick Report Builder) and site-side Analytics (e.g. Google 360, Adobe Analytics) is a plus
  • Experience with presentation software is a plus (e.g. PowerPoint, Keynote)
  • Agency or brand marketing experience is a plus
