Project Manager

AMP Agency Boston is looking for an on-site, full time Project Manager in their Boston office. This employee will manage internal and external resources to execute digital programs including: display advertising (OLA), integrated campaigns, video (long form and social content), rich media, social media marketing and/or integrations, site builds (desktop, mobile and tablet) and in-app advertising. This candidate must be comfortable managing multiple projects and deliverables across various integrated accounts. Candidates should have experience interacting with cross-functional internal teams. Direct client management experience is a plus, but not required.

 

Responsibilities

  • Establish strong relationship with internal account team (and in some instances, external clients) in order to deliver complex projects and programs
  • Develop and manage all project documentation including: estimates, statements of work, schedules and projects plans and updates
  • Manage resource allocation on an on-going, weekly basis as well as monitor project burn rate and budget
  • Act as liaison between agency teams, including creative, media, development, strategy, analytics and account management
  • Collaborate and manage workflows between internal and external team members to ensure that all project deliverables are completed on time and within budget
  • Monitor project status and proactively identify problems both before and as they arise
  • Seek out new solutions when necessary while still delivering cutting edge, best in class executions
  • Participate in digital QA process to ensure quality of work
  • Identify external resources (i.e., vendor partners, freelancers) to compliment the work where necessary to ensure execution

Requirements

  • Ability to understand and speak to all aspects of the creative and media processes is a must. Understanding of web development and technology/innovation is considered a plus.
  • Minimum of 2 to 3 years experience as a digital producer or project manager
  • Proven track record of managing and delivering digital initiatives including; display (OLA), integrated campaigns, website builds / redesigns / maintenance and social media marketing from start to finish
  • Demonstrated ability to meet tight deadlines while juggling multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong communication skills – written and verbal – including effective presentation skills
  • Ability to consistently perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment both as an individual contributor as well as an individual in a team environment
  • Detail oriented with exceptional organizational and time management skills is a must
  • Must be able to work from Boston office
  • Experience with JIRA and / or Microsoft Project / Smartsheet is a plus
  • Previous agency experience is a plus
