AMP Agency is looking for a talented Senior Art Director to join our fast-paced and fully remote creative team. This Sr. Art Director will be a blend of do-er and leader, developing concepts and crafting visual solutions, while also inspiring other designers to push their own creative boundaries. You’ll be builder and keeper of your brand’s aesthetic, guiding its look and feel from ideation to execution — including building brand elements, producing social posts, overseeing photographic direction, crafting digital campaigns, producing web assets and more. Collaborating with other Designers, Copywriters, Creative Directors, Strategists and Media Planners, you’ll provide a unique POV and ensure creative deliverables are of the highest quality.
This position requires that the candidate be a self-starter, extremely organized, detail oriented, and highly driven. As this Sr. Art Director will likely work across multiple accounts and teams within the agency, the ability to effectively juggle multiple priorities while meeting client expectations and timelines is crucial. Our client work is deeply rooted in social media, so an unfiltered passion for not only consuming but creating social content is a must.

Core Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary visual lead across digital projects spanning various clients, audiences and verticals
Create excellent visual executions, assets and materials that translate words, ideas and strategic insights into high caliber designs that engage, enlighten and inspire
Ensure brand consistency, in both look and feel, across all creative efforts
Ensure conceptual and quality alignment with Creative leads
Guide other designers in the development of all skills relevant to their growth as professional designers
Lead, participate in and contribute to brainstorming sessions to develop ideas into program executions
Collaborate with Creative Director, Art Directors and Copywriters and other creative team members to review creative work, revise executions and refine concepts
Proactively raise your hand to bring ideas to the table, voice a POV, and get deliverables across the finish line.
Build strong internal relationships with Account, Media, Project Management, and Strategy teams as well as a trusting rapport with clients.
Keep on the pulse of the latest social media, design and cultural best practices and trends to continually discover new ways of thinking, working and creative problem solving
Required Skills:
Expert knowledge of digital communication channels, particularly social media, their best practices and current activity trending on each
Clear and expert command of the principles of typography and design
Expertise with Mac OSX, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, as well as proficiency in Sketch/XD, Google Slides and Keynote
Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work on multiple projects at once and to meet deadlines daily in a team-oriented environment
General understanding of creative/media performance and ability to translate learnings into strong creative work
Requirements: 6-8 years creative agency experience

Knowledge of print production processes
Motion graphics and animation skills
Illustration, studio photography or videography knowledge and experience
